Trader

The trader will be involved in the development, analysis and execution of trading activities across all steel products, in a specific trade area. The ideal candidate will have several years experience in the steel and/or commodity markets with a proven track record with an important network of contacts in the industry.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required with strong local market knowledge in addition to exceptional sensitivity to detail. Your role will be to develop the steel trading book, in building and developing new clients, new suppliers and business activities for the company, as well as maintaining strong relationships with the existing clients. You will have an influential role in expanding the activity of the company.

Sales Representative / Account Manager

As a sales representative you will identify, develop and maintain relationships with assigned territories or accounts to generate business that is profitable, sustainable and collectable. You will develop existing and new accounts by consistent follow-through and attention to detail. A high level of customer service during all customer and vendor interactions is expected.  

 

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with a salesperson’s attitude and emotional intelligence. Sales experience in industrial and commodity products is required with steel experience preferred.  This role affords an opportunity to gain expertise within the sector, to contribute as part of an established team, and to be directly exposed to investment decisions by collaboration with seasoned senior members of the firm.

Trade Operations

Specialist

The Trade Operations Specialist provides operational support which is crucial to the physical execution of orders. In this important role, the individual working as a team player, is responsible for post-execution of the orders which lead to delivery of our commitment and payment.

 

The individual must possess an in-depth understanding of industry trading practices which involve many areas to coordinate, such as contracts, Letters of Credits, logistics, customs, insurance and post-order follow up with both clients and suppliers. Beyond technical skills, interpersonal and analytical skills are essential in performing this duty.
